Are you interested in being selected to speak on the main stage at the 6th Annual I’ve Decided Motivational Conference in January 2020? If you answered “yes” to these questions, enroll in this exciting program today - seating is limited to the first 10 registrants.


Description:

This program is designed to develop your ability to be a poised and engaging public speaker whose message inspires and moves an audience. Three key actions will be emphasized: 1) devote time to preparation, 2) enhance your stage presence and delivery skills, and 3) use feedback to learn and improve. Specifically, you will:

  • Review and practice techniques for preparation and planning of public speaking engagements
  • Learn and practice methods to enhance stage presence and engage the audience
    Discuss strategies for rehearsing, managing anxiety, and maintaining poise
  • Experience hands-on practice and feedback (video playback/ audience input) of presentation design and delivery

Format:

This program includes four sessions, with time in between sessions for presentation development, practice, and revision – please see schedule below. After completing all four sessions, participants will speak on Saturday, November 2 for a live audience and a panel of judges, who will select the individual to be awarded the honor of speaking on the main stage at the 6th Annual I’ve Decided Motivational Conference in January 2020. A runner-up will also be chosen, in the event the first-place selection is unable to fulfill his/her speaking engagement at the conference.

SPECIAL NOTE: Participants must agree to attend all four sessions and the competition in their entirety.
